The Peace Song Tapestries is the concept of musical director Thomas Fitzgerald. Young music makers are invited to discover new ways for peace through the power of music. If you are under 26 years, you are eligible to participate in this exciting project

We all share this one planet, it’s where we all live. Our current Peace Themes explore tolerance and peaceful co-existance between different cultures with a special focus on those closest to you, getting on with your family and your community and an important theme which concerns the world community, global warming.

Kim Dylan and Rahat, youth ambassador for Earth Hour were our guest hosts for the final program of the Peace Song Tapestries on SBS. The first piece presented this week by Dr Tom was 'Out of the Atmosphere' by Mave. We then heard 'Looking after Number One' by performance poet Bridget Lewis and our final work by virtuoso computer musician Josh Batty.

The Harmony Day Concert in Angel Place showcased many of Australia's talented young music makers and their creations. Special thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the concert.
